Conformity 20g Boscarol Suction Unit

The European standard UNI EN 1789 specifies requirements for the design, testing, performance and equipping of road ambulances used for the transport and care of patients. This standard gives general requirements for medical devices carried in road ambulances and used therein and outside hospitals and clinics in situations where the ambient conditions can differ from normal indoor conditions.

The paragraph 6.3.5 foresees that the device shall be restrained in the ambulance by means of a fixation system. This system shall hold the device to withstand accelerations or decelerations of 10 g longitudinal (forward, backward), 10 g transverse (left, right) and 10 g vertical.

Our medical suction units OB 3000 and OB 1000 comply not only with the requirements of the norm EN 1789, but these devices have also successfully passed the test with accelerations and decelerations of more than 20 g.
